BURGAS
Bugras (210 000) is found 390km eastern from Sofia. It’s situated in the western part of the bay of Burgas on the peninsula, which is around three lakes. The climate is with soft winter and long sunny summer. The beach is character with a dark sands. Burgas is the forth city in Bulgaria.
The first habitants here ate the Thrakians. After that is a Roman town Deulrum, later Develt. There is a Medical center near the variable mineral springs. Through the Middle ages is the stronghold Pirgos , from XVII century its name is Burgas. After the Bulgarian liberationthe town became a centre of the southern Black sea. It’s a town with developed industry and commerce.
MUSEUMS
The Historical museum possess collections from ancient colonys on the Black sea.
Ethnografical museum is an interesting collection of traditional masks, dresses and objects of the bit.
In the Nature-scientific museum are shown expositions, presenting the geological characteristics of the Earth,
the flora and the fauna.
LANDMARKS
There is a beautiful Sea garden in Burgas. The cathedral “St. St. Kiril and Metodi”, the Armenian church, the Catholic cathedral, the churches “St. Virgin Mary” and “St. Ivan Rilski”.

The Lake of Atanas is northern of the city. It’s home for many marsh and sea birds which migrate from Gibraltar to the Bosfor.
In the Lake of Burgas nest a lot of pelicans, ibis and herons.
The Mandra'lake is very important ornithologist reserve.
There is an antique church on St. Anastasia island.
The salt-cellars in the Burgas and Atanas lakes are very interesting.
There are a lot of relics from ancient Roman settle in the mineral baths.
Village Krajmorie is found southern from Burgas. It’s on the road to the old stronghold Pirgos.
Park “Otmanli” is found 15 km from the city
