Panagyurishte ( (21 000 inhabitants) is in a small valley of Sredna gora, 90 km from Sofia. Its name has Greek origin and means "Honest Court". In XIII century the town was called Kamenograd. Panagyurishte in XVII century reached its zenith. The city is the center of the April Uprising (1876). The whole population rose in armed struggle. It was here was with ears flag embroidered words "Liberty or Death." Regardless of heroism, much more numerous and better armed Turkish Army entered the city. About how many times Panagyurishte is again set on fire.

Municipal Historical Museum is dedicated to the April uprising. Dudekova, Tuteva and Dzhunova houses show how life in the XIX century. In the house-museum Raina Knyaginya (Princess Raina) is the grave of the heroine (her made the flag, symbol of rebellion). In the center of town is the Church of the Assumption. Holiday area Panagyurski colony is the highest point on the road between Panagyurishte and Zlatica (1500 m).

The historical place Oborishte is located about 10 km. the city in a small valley, covered in a dense beech forest. 14 to April 16, 1876 meet here first Bulgarian National Assembly. The Assembly of Oborishte deciding on the proclamation of the April uprising.

Golden Threasures of Panagyurishte is a rare archaeological monuments from the time of the Hellenistic Age. Consists of nine vessels with a rich decoration, weighs 6,164 kilograms. This phenomenon reveals the ancient art of the Thracians as a nation with a highly cultural artistic traditions. The biggest court - amphora with a handle in the shape of centaurs. Stage of its floor shows little Hercules, who killed two snakes. There are seven rhytons. Fiala weighs 846 g and has a diameter of 25 centimeters - the largest and most severe Fiala of the ancient world with a unique decoration.

Strelcha is located 40 km. north of Pazardzhik, 60 km. from Plovdiv, 14 km. from Panagyurishte and 100 km. east of Sofia. The resort is 475 meters above sea level. Situated at the southern foot of the real forest in Central Valley in the picturesque valley of the river Strelchanska Luda Yana. The Rock's of Strelcha formations are huge granite pinnacles.

Thracian cult complex "Frog mogila" dates back to the V century BC. The complex consists of the mausoleum and the tomb-temple. In the tomb were found chariot horse skeletons with ammunition and crockery. The medieval fortress Strelchansko Kale is on the right bank of the river used between IX-XIV century, it is therefore about 40 minutes. Are complex and interesting houses in authentic Renaissance style, remains of Roman settlement Thracian sanctuaries, bridges, scattered around the site, historical museum.

The mineral water is hot and slightly mineralized. Useful for the treatment and prevention of the locomotory system, peripheral nervous system, gynecological diseases, exchange-endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, urological, skin, gastrointestinal and liver-biliary disease.
